Behind the Initiative

A private, nationally recognized university established in 1875. SU educates and inspires individuals to be critical, reflective thinkers; lifelong learners; and ethical, compassionate citizens who are committed to making responsible contributions within a community, a nation and the world.
Led by Principal Investigator Dr. Mohammad F. Obeid, Shenandoah University oversees direction and administration of the projects.

An academic center engaged in research, teaching, training, and outreach on issues related to Islam and Muslims in contemporary contexts. Utilizing inter- and transdisciplinary approaches from diverse academic specializations, it is involved in education, publication, and outreach.
CICW is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) private foundation. This work is made possible and funded by CICW.
